Topic: GUI, HUD

1. Windows
I wonder if you can get an option, to remove the window-borders of the HUD-panels.

also i would like to change the opacity of the background - most of the windows dont even need one, and it just blocks the sight...

2.Squad-UI
- an option to block hostile actions agains squadmates would be nice for supporters
- perhaps every rank in squad leadership could expand the squad interface and add some GFX that shows what everyone does.
- the squad info should also share accu-capacity info (again, for vital for support)

3. target information HUD - will post some suggestions later.

Re: GUI, HUD

continuation of 3:

- Demob effect could be visualized with glowing leg ankles and some sparks on the legs on the demobbed Bot/Mech (like shown on the demob-icon) . Additional the demobbing Bot/Mech should emit a short beam from its head to the target when the cycle beginns.

- ECMs are already visualized

- Sensor supressor: small sparks on the targets head, dunno about emitter FX

- Remote sensor amplifier:
a beam of random "0" and "1" strings emited from the amplifier to the target. This one should only visible for the buffer, buffed one and squad-mates, if the squadleader has high enough leadership skills.

Re: GUI, HUD

Really good ideas, thank you for contributing these nice ideas. smile
I'm not sure when we will have time for module animation, but as we talked lately about new modules and the work related to them, I hope that in the not too far future.
Noted. smile

Re: GUI, HUD

Consider showing modifiers effect using both "+" and "-". We have "-" currently, but no "+" - just default positive number which is confusing as you might think like "40%" is the 0.4 of a current value and not actually 1.40.

Really like that idea. Also, column inside chat, separating chat and players on chat don't remember it's position, so i change it all the time I log in. But sometimes it's hard to catch it, is it 1-2 pixel bar ?
