Topic: Lower licensing fees

As it is now, requesting a license costs upwards of 40% of the value of items like ammo.  Max extensions would seem to lower that only by approximately half.

Re: Lower licensing fees

As far as I know when you are requesting just 1 it's costy but if you make like 20 it's pretty cost effective.

Re: Lower licensing fees

When requesting one run of something it costed 11k.  When requesting 20 it was over 200k.

Re: Lower licensing fees

As this is part of the "old" industry system, we certainly better have to wait for the maybe-one-day industry revamp ...

Re: Lower licensing fees

As Bambi replied we'd best wait for the new Production patch to really get into it, but I've seen my dad do something with licenses, he used a pattern and started making one license and it was like 11k, then he did bulk 20 and it was only like 50k or so.

we'll just have to wait and see how the new system turns out. big_smile

Re: Lower licensing fees

There are two different things about licences (i say it because i needed 1 month to figure it tongue)
. First, pattern development. You develop the max licences you can buy at one time. Each level cost same
. Licence request, with a maximum equal to patent development level. Cost less the more you buy

Then, there is the real industry charge. You use one licence to build the needed item.
ONLY build 1 item at a time, as prices are bugged right now ... it will cost you bunches of money, dont do it! smile
