Topic: Perpetuum Killboard

I made a killboard. It's located at:

http://killboard.sequer.nl/

It's currently using the Perpetuum API to stay up-to-date. Thanks to Ludlow Bursar (who has been scraping perp-kill.net up until may 2012) it has a pretty accurate historical database as well.

I tried to pull away from that EDK-feel pretty much every Steve killboard suffers from. Also, less is more in my opinion. But I am looking into ways of visualizing data on agents/corporations/related kills.

Recent export of the database:

Re: Perpetuum Killboard

Very nice!  I like the style.  The only thing I would add is that there is a lot of white on the screen which I find a little too bright.  Maybe some light grey shading or some kind of light grey outline/picture/pattern in the background would work.

Otherwise, great work!

I believe pvp could be very exciting and the game has what it takes. But this is game is ruined and we all know  by who, it´s by corps like CiR, -77- and PHM. - by Fu ManChu

Re: Perpetuum Killboard

great work.

for my personal likeing i dont prefer so much white. i prefer it a bit darker just like perp HP... but of cource thats just my personal preferences...

good work. keep it up.

I really don't like comments, being the cesspool that they generally are (or add very little). Maybe when Perp's API allows for some form of authentication (some day).

Agreed, comments most of the time don't help in any way and are just a cause of profanities more often then not.

Re: Perpetuum Killboard

Also related kills?

Re: Perpetuum Killboard

This killboard is lame

You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.

Re: Perpetuum Killboard

Would be great if it had comments and the related kills link features.

Who hosts Sequer.NL?

That'd be me, I guess?

Anyway, related kills (battle summary) has been implemented. It mostly works by trying to determine if people grouped together (based on a certain threshold amount of shared kills), looking from the point of the victim.

Re: Perpetuum Killboard

I thought Mark Zima did some kind of fitting tool from there or something?

That's me. Mark Zima does Perpetuum Planner. Etil DeLaFuente does a stand-alone version of a fitting tool.

Are you talking about some updated fitting tool that works for today's game updated with new mods? I would love to see that if you have a link, and it's public.

Currently seems other fitting tools outdated. And they never worked for me anyway. neutral

Sparking to other games

Re: Perpetuum Killboard

It's currently in debug mode, but it might work for you.

Re: Perpetuum Killboard

I like it more then perp-kill.

Re: Perpetuum Killboard

I've cleaned up the stats page, making it probably about a 100% more useful than before. Also added some robot-related stats.

Re: Perpetuum Killboard

Is there a way to see a master list of agents?  Like if I wanted to see who the worst K/D ratio player in the game is?

Re: Perpetuum Killboard

I really would like to see the reverse stats like the bottom 100 pvp players.

Re: Perpetuum Killboard

Bottom 100 would be almost the same list, only backwards I think. smile
