Topic: Need advice as a combat character.

I am finding it most difficult to continue doing bounty hunter missions.  The robots are fairly challenging, and it takes a lot of ammo to kill them.  The amount of credits I get for the reward and the droid kernels does not pay for all the ammo that I have used. (missles)

Am I doing something wrong? Im trying to save up for a new robot, but it seems I can't make any money if I have to spend all my money on ammo.

If I kill really easy robots that drop missles, I can make money there.  But i'm looking for a challenge and I want to do missions.

Oh and does anyone know what bots drop ammo for lasers?

Its probably an issue with resistances and EP spending.

What bot are you in?
What bots are you finding not profitable?
What ammo are you using?
How have you spent your EP?

Answer these and I can tell you what is going wrong.

Brig,

Give us a bit more detail and people will give helpful advice, such as what missions/bots/setup you are using and where you have spent your ep's

for laser ammo, there are the geo missions from asintec alpha.

but the higher end missions, i would suggest if you';re strugglinh, then try teaming up with another player to do em.
