Topic: Your computer specs and perp performance

Hey, thought it would be interesting to see what computers people are playing with, what settings they use and what performance they get.
Not just fun to know, but also usefull for people who want real figures of what to expect from different hardware.

I currently run on my HTPC.
Mobo: Asus E35M1-I Deluxe (tiny m-ITX card)
CPU: AMD E-350 @ 1,6GHz
GPU: Radeon HD 6310 (integrated one, not officially supported to work with perp by AC)
RAM: 4Gb DDR3 @ 1333MHz

Settings: lowest possible/disabled on all settings fuuu
Performance: lagging in stations, allmost playable when there's not too many bots etc on the screen, and "slideshow" when trying to run 160+ on highways fuuu

Re: Your computer specs and perp performance

Mobo: P8Z68-V
CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti
RAM: 2x 4096 MBytes DDR3 Corsair 1600
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 (6.1)  Service Pack 1 (Build 7601)
DirectX: 11.0

Runs three clients perfectly smoothly with a few tweaks. Can get a bit warm but I've got the cooling to handle it.
By far not a high end machine. The entire thing costs around £600. Anyone with close friend in the wholesale business can get this much cheaper.

Re: Your computer specs and perp performance

lol Egil <3

Processor: 3.2 GHz Intel something or other (dual core)
RAM: 3.5 GB (doesnt register all 4 for some reason)
Windows 7 Ultimate
GeForce 9800 GTX 512MB

I run two clients.
Small screen 1440 x 900 with everything on low
Larger screen 1920 x 1080 with effects and shadows at medium and the highest draw distance (gotta spot them trees)(actually can we just get plants on the radar pls?)

Its playable but not great.  I suppose i should turn off the shadows on the large screen but it just looks so odd tongue
I sometimes get moments when everything on the client screen freezes and if I was steering by holding down a mouse button any mouse movement at the begining of the freeze will be instantly applied 1-2sec later once the freeze stops even if I let go of the mouse during that time (just a little annoying).  This often coincides with a detector cycle.

Fraps says i get 20 fps on the main screen at best (40-50 on the small).  In a medium sized fight I am happy to have 8 fps.

I wold quite like to know where the main bottle neck may be as far as fps goes (video ram?).

If your running 32bit version it won't register all your ram

Re: Your computer specs and perp performance

Laptop: ASUS K50IN-SX011L (2 years old machine)

CPU: intel pentium
GPU: Geforce g102m
RAM: 3 GB
OS: Win 7

I run the game in 1024*768, and nearly lowest settings. (10-18 FPS)
These settings maybe the lowest to play the game "good".

Dont want to massive pvp with because flowers drawing distance and more.
If you see 15 and more mechs on screen you need to change to "simplified robot models" on.

Your other specs are solid, if you doubled your RAM you could easily run 3-4 clients.

Looking forward to new players and new conflicts.

Yeah I keep meaning to, just never got around to it, CPU and Graphics are reasonably recent, more RAM is next on the list.
