I need to say.

Mainly this game not for solo PVP, even worse in 1v1. Because main mechanics is not about these type of play.

But, you can solo PVP, 1v1 just you need to know many things for reward what is mostly 1 kill or better is 2 and you need to know a bit better the game than attackers, and you need many practice and find your advantages and specialize your skills, and fittings dont need soo many EP just specialize. Mainly the solo PVP -ers will die most of time so you need cheap fit the enemy can use T4-s.
You need to prepare to fight against many players than you, so you need practice for that, because you need to know what will be "killable" or not.

I summarize what I know for the new guys to do it.

what you need:
-cheap bot, T1,T2 the most importsants T4 but is not every time needed, insure your robot
-after many experience you need to use the terrain for your advantage
-specialised fittings, skills
-need to find the enemy weak points and need to attack in good time

disadvantages:
-enemy detector  (you also can use but hard to use)
-many times the enemy use T4 modules what is mainly better than T1 ~1.4 times
-fights 2-3 people at the same time
-need many of time when you can find a good enemy for you
-most of time you kill weak enemies (that not too kind)
-after many of played hours your name will known and they know what bring most of time and what they need afraid of.

reward:
-1-2 kill, nice loot
-„win” when you killed the all of enemy at a time (2-3) and you can reach safe place

That is what can I say after many of solo PVP.

My best moments:

in Arbalest: I killed 2 Waspish MK2, Waspish T4 fitted he want to fight, Kain (I died afte fight because explosion damage and was before the Mech buff)

in Kain: I played at a same time a Cameleon, Castel, Yagel I killed Cameleon, Yagel, Castel can fight in the end 1v1 me and these guys was good in pvp (TOG team), I played with 2 Arba + Baphomet at a same time, I used NPC -s and killed 1 Bapho and then the others has low HP after we all died for Observers but maybe I could fight more time.) And I killed in solo SirVampire in Kain, maybe he was a little bit surprise because he said first when saw me „come here” I did.

That fights was the best for me in solo PVP carrier, but for that you need about many dies and many walking kilometers in betas.

Whom I cant kill and I remember for them because I really wanted to kill him, Lemon in his tank Artemis, Anivia Tristian in also Artemis.

I ever had the impresion "solo PvP" means to PvP using just one robot driven by one agent using one acc ...

Not: "I am my own gank using alot of real money to pay X PC with X monitors and X payed accounts".

But well, now I know, why I suck at SOLO PvP ... I just missed to buy more hardware and I'm not realy good at multi tasking (2+ keyboards, 2+ mice and so on) *ROFL*.

The major problem in doing solo pvp is that you have to to plan that you get instant way home because encountering too many enemies before starting doing solo pvp.
My opinion is that if you meet 5+ enemies beeing alone, you survive only if they are not prepared to fight (e.g, carry no weapon or have no lwf equipped and you outrun them easily) or they are quite bad. Extreme shield tank is last possibility but you usually don't start solo PvP in shield fit, you just manage to survive but kill no other.

Solo PvP is doable. If sucessfull it is in  most cases  vs Indu or vs unprepared but there are nice examples of good fights and I also remember seeing fights with 1 vs 2 in similar bots which are won by tactic and skill.

It's possible, but how often does it work in your favor you ask? Not very many times as most beta islands are patrolled regularly by large entities. Just be prepared to be ganked, and like Celeb said drive cheap!

Tactic is very much do-able with 1 account..... Main combat toon is logged off on internal TP in what ever bot you choose.... second toon (Eyes)on that account is in a light bot off TP @1000m preferably in a place with escape routes. your Eyes toon spots enemy either hopping in to that TP or chases your eyes to that TP you instant log your eyes and log your main and boom. Solo pvp. This also protects your main from being ganked as you can effectivly scout weather or not its worth logging in your main.

Edit: also most people with 2-4 accounts don't multi box we just multi client. Run your client in windowed mode and you can easily filp flop between the 2-4.
Hence having a decteter and a masker is easy.
