Topic: Perpetuum Fitting Tool - Continued..

A BIG THANKS TO BLACK FLAG FOR STARTING THIS..

I am going to continue this to the best of my ability, my Excel skill are average..

Use this spreadsheet to figure out which extensions to get to fit that gear you just got/want to get, or would like to know what gear you can use based on current extensions.
This works in conjunction with the Perpetuum Tools export function, its also has limited usage with Perpetuum Planner.  Simply use the import button to import your planner extension data.  Be Aware the Perpetuum planner is out of date and some extensions are obsolete and some are not in the program.

Perpetuum Fit Tool v2.05 - BETA (EXCEL Spreadsheet ONLY)
Perpetuum Fit Tool v2.06 - BETA - unprotected (EXCEL Spreadsheet ONLY)

Its in BETA as module/bot stats still need to be updated.. Please post any discrepancies in regard to this....

If you have any recommendations or requests for future versions, please post them in this thread.  (An exe version or google docs post will not be made due to the complexity of this spreadsheet.  Please note that this spreadsheet is protected and any modification is only possible with the authorization of myself.)

Excel and Macros

For this fitting tool to work properly, the Macro Security settings need to be changed, so that Macros can be run...
To do this.
For Office 2003
For Office 2007

Re: Perpetuum Fitting Tool - Continued..

I've not been able to replicate the Import Data/Data Reset issue either.  My best guess would be that it's because this was written in Excel's 2002 version or the user did not enable macros.  The importer/reset works fine with my version of excel.

Re: Perpetuum Fitting Tool - Continued..

Thanks BF big_smile

I have a few requests smile

The formula for pelistal accum bonus might need poking around with.
Niani modules (even just weight/cpu/reactor stats).
ERPs (same).

Can't think of anything else, would you prefer if I edit this post or repost as they come up? Thanks for maintaining this btw!

Re: Perpetuum Fitting Tool - Continued..

Hmm no it doesn't seem to have come through. I reset this account a while back, maybe it deleted forum messages? Bit of a stretch I guess. Maybe in game mail me if you get a chance?

Re: Perpetuum Fitting Tool - Continued..

HHHHmmmmmmm...

Perpetuum Planner is So Out Of Date, with missing/renamed/obsolete extension i think its time I use a different way to import spark data.
So the Helpful people @ Perpetuum Tools have added a spark export option on there agent, Thanks Doek.
If we go this way ALL extensions will be support BUT, Importing the PerpPlanner data will not work for some extension.
What you guys think, Stay with PerpPlanner or go with PerpTools????

Re: Perpetuum Fitting Tool - Continued..

cant you just make a googledoc, i beleive those support macros, and you can just duplicate it if you have a google email so people can use it on the go if they dont have anything newer then office 03

Re: Perpetuum Fitting Tool - Continued..

exe version would be easier because you can have the buttons do things, since macros dont work on some versions, but this would have less system req

Re: Perpetuum Fitting Tool - Continued..

An exe version of this is beyond me talents, sorry...
