Topic: Ewar Love

It would be great to finaly have Ewars on the participating Parties on the Killmails.
Is it really so difficult to have them on the Killmail as well?
Demob, Suppression, ECM, Neut, etc... is all part of an aggresion. You get flagged upon this as well, so why can we not be on a Killmail?

Please DEV´s, put Ewars on Killmails. We deserve it.

don't see why not. Expand on that and add the following:

1) # of cycles of successful ECM per participant
2) Amount of acc drained per participant
3) Amount of time demobed per participant
4) Amount of time supressed per participant

The EWARs would be on the killmails if there weren't very serious difficulties with the implementation. We are very aware of the problem, but there is no solution as of yet.

I totally agree with this. Ewar definitely needs to get some love on kill boards. Many times there the reason that kills could happen.

This topic needs to be in more peoples minds and dan it was only in there cause it did damage of some sort.

Tacklers, Drainers and ECM specialized bots/mech builds normally have no weapons. Perhaps the easy code fix would be to make all E-war mods do a fraction of damage .01 just to get it to show we did something, and make our e-peens grow as we watch our listed kill assists grow long........

Any update on this Dev Calvin? would be nice to know that this is up there on someones to-do list as the Perp-kill Board has exploded on the scene and is an integrial part of alot of peoples gaming experiances.

Can you adjust so that all the ewar does 0.00001 damage on successful hit,  so it will register?

Well actually it makes sense, ewar does " damage " you in a way, Neuts and drains can certainly be converted to real damage if the target is running shields 1 damage per cycle can be implemented. Hell if that DAMAGE is not wanted, you could even implement the same amount as Repping.

However this would ofcourse mean rebuilding all of the modules, and recoding them, wich essential, would probably be more work then figureing out a way to show them currently.

A more promising solution would probably be in registering "flagged" persons, if you flag for pvp that gets registered. Wouldn't it be possible to include flagged persons to the killmail and then if no damage was applied just set it at 0? This would give non weapon bots registration on the killboard, and would give the devs time to include the individual registration of modules for more expanded killboard stats

Yeah i think your right kesthely it should be tied in somehow to aggression.... Would be easy to show who was aggressed to a target before target when pop. At least I would think

how does the killmail work anyway?
which timeframe does it take into consideration for the displayed "damage dealt".
I have a topic somewhere under feature request to tie more of this data into the "most dangerous agent" list.

SOLUTION = All EW causes zero point one point damage.  Won't effect balance at all.

Add ewar to combat logs and then include other status than just damage in the "fight recorder" so that it will say "ENEMYNAME > Demobilised > YOUR NAME  XX%" or however other combat logs work (Too early).
ECM already logs but suppression doesn't. ECM combat log doesn't include the persons name trying to ECM you.

So just fix combat logging first and then change the parameters of whatever works out who did what damage.

yes please, that would mean that ewar would need ammo, and not work through shields under the current system. now guess which code they should rewrite. killmail, or weapons in general?

Not opposed to having ammo in E-war mods... but how is the drainer gonna take ammo? roll I can see the ECM and D-mobs having a universal charge. It would give the indy guys a new project....

Besides that I just want E-war mods to show in Kill mails I don't really care how or even what shows up weather its (name)(successful D-mob) or (% immobilized) , just how long will it take to get this fixed so we can stop putting 1-2 guns on our E-wars to feel the pride of helping our squad?
