Topic: [UI] Inventory Scaling/Window Management

I'm going to edit this post with everyone's input.

Inventory Window Optimizations:

1. Scaling of icons or different view options (list/details/etc.)
2. Make inventory windows sortable. (type/condition
3. Hot-keys (CTRL-A)
4. Remember private storage container's window locations.
5. Allow dragging of items from private storage into a container without having to open the container. Just drag to the container and let-er-go.
6. Corp storage folders need to remember their last window locations as well. (The sub-folders)

To sum this all up, everyone wants basic Windows folder options.

Edited topic subject.

Or even scale the icons, at my resolution everything looks great (have good eyes, like the tiny text in the chat), but the icons in cargo and storage are absolutely huge, about 8 times bigger than the icons on the top bar.

Re: [UI] Inventory Scaling/Window Management

I agree with this suggestion.

Re: [UI] Inventory Scaling/Window Management

Yea, the inventory feels inefficient and clunky. Let us scale it or offer different views please.

Dreaming of this for a long time now =)

Also, window focus and working ENTER key! ;)

Re: [UI] Inventory Scaling/Window Management

It starts to be a must have with all the junk in my storage...

Re: [UI] Inventory Scaling/Window Management

Also, would you mind making container windows remember their last opened position? Thanks.

They do.  In terminal private storage, bot storage, and corp storage windows will remember where they are.

As for in the field, loot containers will remember their location in the order they will opened.  Different locations will be saved when you close multiple windows, so it may not seem "right" when you have many open, but it is.

Re: [UI] Inventory Scaling/Window Management

He's talking about containers you buy in your private storage. They do not remember their last position when closed and reopened.

Yes. Containers opened in terminals in your private storage do NOT remember their last opened position. Since I try to keep everything organized I have about 10 containers I have to constantly open/close. Having to open/drag/manipulate/close just adds another step I could do without.

This would be great. Also figure out how to add a shortcut for select all (ctrl+a).

+1

And if in list style make the folders look like in market with a "Expand All" and "Collapse All" function

ctrl + a to select all would be great too.

That's what I said! big_smile

Re: [UI] Inventory Scaling/Window Management

AGREED!  Even the ability to greatly scale down the size of the item pic would be much appreciated as a short term quick fix.
