Topic: Make Perpetuum great again!

Walls we need walls everywhere not just near your station. You can shoot it directly now so what's the big deal. big_smile

Main topic: With players help I think we can spam the *** out of this game post on reddit, gaming forums, youtube or where ever to get new blood on this game, players united we can do it.

They don't even know this exist: Perpetuum is a great alternative probably the only game which comes close, main thing dragging it down is the small playerbase.

What about walls?

Well Perpetuum was ever "great" ?

So I am in anything that you can think improve more things. (I try to help new players, thats what I can, after many try.)

I'll probably end up making a post about perp at some point on the Forged Alliance Forever forums for the Supcom FA community. They have a thousand or so people over there themselves, maybe a few dozen will poke over here.

That would be great beast!

Having comments out there in random blogs and forums does not take a great deal of time, but if we all do it will expose the game and at least if we can get 5 or 10 new people each and they can spread the word it can make a difference. There is an alternative sandbox to Eve and we have it right here.

To the Devs: Next sale on Steam you need to be on Steam frontpage. Why develop a game where you don't even at least try and spend more resources in marketing, this game thrives on a high playerbase.

Could we have a free weekend type of thing going too?.

Makes a difference if you can shoot them directly , in a way I liked it, not sure why, maybe try I out on beta 2s, and gammas or add new islands for them. Point is they were nerfed so much there have little use I want more like a walls 1.5.

nope, there is no bug i know of that prevents you from shooting down walls with weapons directly

b, and there is no bug, its an intended game mechanic at work, that is logical, and without it, walls would be worthless

btw, my quote up there is related to someone who said to me the one day, he knows how the game works, and all game mechanics better then anyone,
and the other day he said on Teamspeak that you absolutely cannot kill walls without bombs, giving that example of his "highest short-range DPS heavy mech".

theres 80% less people playing the game than a couple of months ago and this is important?

I dont even think FTP would help without profound mechanic changes. They have absolutely nothing up their sleeve and worse no real will or resources to turn that around. Content is slowing down to the barest trickle - the list of 'quick changes' that was supposed to arrive before xmas is 30% done at best. The content they did release that was good and fun like missions they nerfed horribly despite us begging them not to.

What bothers me even more is they dont want help, I cant even give them money for the new content that this game so desperately needs.

Its sad but its time. It needs to go ftp and have the code published so people at least can do the private server thing.

The game only needs content, then players will both come and stay.
If resources are sparse, just reuse existing models to make mk3 bots etc... add a few extra islands with different content such as big NPC spawns etc...

nope its not.

but what else is there to do?

there is that guy that aks for "specialised" robots every 4 weeks or so, but when there is a game mechanic that needs a special condition to be met, he calls it a bug.

the DEV team is down to three guys now, and wonder what they are doing.
even though CRM has me on his ignore list in Skype, i get a "CRM is online" popup message like every 5 minutes, like if he is restarting it every time he restarts the DEV server wink (whishfull thinking)

dunno about free2play... wouldn't really make any difference.

what really would make a difference, would be more action based activities ingame, less brain-off ones.
