Topic: Gamma islands / Island specific ores or plants

This suggestion was made by a corp member. I point this out first since I thought it was a great idea and he should get the kudos for it.

The largest bots (still not implemented) should require a commodity refined from ores (or plants) which can be obtained exclusively from a specific Gamma island. Each one of the Gamma islands would have its own exclusive ore (or plant) type.

This would mean a monopoly to whoever owned that island, making for interesting market revenues.

It would also mean mining incursions by competing corps/alliances, or ninja stealth mining by smaller corps/freelancers.

This would drive up pvp with concrete objectives for the forces competing for the ores.

It would be really interesting if there'll be only 1 "Gamma" Island... With all competition on it. 3 outposts as 3 bases for major corps/alliances. For now there is no real need in PvP - more like a fun with 3 betta islands - there is no core island needed for all corps.

One huge "gamma" island, less radar visibility (background radiation scientific bla bla), no safe zones, maybe less determined teleport places to avoid gate camping, roaming npcs? - would be fun, many valuable mining spots, npc spawns, -entrance from at least one alpha island.

The ideais that this island should not be owned like the beta islands are. Should be accessable to smaller corps too if they can avoid detection. More chance to have small gang pvp instaed of the big island vs island blob parties.

And please remove safe zones. Scouts should be used to scout ahead, not the other way around...
