can we have both? locked stations, but the field terminal interface for outposts and big terminals?

-field terminals allow you to accept missions, and access a private storage, and refit your bot if not in combat.
-outpost locking prevents akward situations where an outpost attacker can respawn right in his targets homebase.

if you add the one to the other, everyone is a winner.

*"private storage" is there for a reason

The reason for open stations is to encourage corps to live, build, do industry and grow on Beta. While there is nothing wrong with this request it doesn't fulfil all of that, just some. With Norhoop open and nothing really going on in that island who knows if it will be successful even if it's done. The latest sale hasn't moved the population and the latest patch didn't either. Without that influx of new players I'm not sure what will.

At some point it will need to go f2p, maybe start off with no EP progression and a small EP amount to try it out.

They could use the current EP mechanics really, you would need to log in every three days to gain EP. If they made the token shop a cash shop alongside the EP packages it should balance the income out nicely. If they did that and it didn't help the population though ... what next?
