Yes by making all the robots disgustingly the same with no unique features to each because fitting an autocannon in every slot gives you as much dps as faction specific weapons.  Hell Anni, why don't we just get rid of *** names and colors of robots and have a random undock button that places you in a random robot, where you get to spend hours killing 1 robot in an intense battle that rewards you a few hundred Nic.  While we're at let's put epriton and colixium on alpha!  Yay!!  And remove pvp!!  We will call it Hello Robots Island Adventures:Stupid *** trees edition!  Awesome!

I call it fast learning, its not that hard to ask people and start learning about SAP mechanics and about how PvP tends to go down in "tactical warfare", I've had peeps who have been taught and learned all about it and started helping with SAPs (scanning or doing them)by the fine people of "the alliance" within the first 2 weeks.

If hes a spy for learning how things work within 3 then I pity you.

1. the colors on the robots have been a wasted feature for years now. or did anyone except CHAOS ever run a non-mixed faction corp (at least for some time)

2. the robots have still lots of different defining attributes. or is it just me that cannot fit 4 missile launchers on a kain. Neither can i remember beeing able to put a single EM gun on my Gropho.

3. must be really lonely on gamma.

where did you get that information from? I don't see anything like that on PTS.

I thought there were new requirements like the combat pilot one under robot control but I probably misunderstood.

Anyway, it's sounds reasonable to refund EP. I know that this is very unpleasant to spend months/years of training on some fitting, and then suddenly it's get nerfed.

BUT i'm sure that this not the last rebalancing. So it's would be stupid to refund EP every time when it happens.
I know that in such old game as EVE they're still constantly boosting and nerfing something. Lots of people get mad everytime, mostly the "average" players. Some can even give an advice to a noob to train something that is garbage at the moment, so there's a big chance that this'll be boosted when he'll maximizes the skills for it

The ultimate solution is to became nerf-proof.

Devalued Skills is not a reason for a refund, only obsolete or removed extensions.

What about robots rebalance?

I came into the game and choose a fraction based on current bonuses robots, I did plan the necessary skills and scatter EP.

Now I do not like the changes in my fraction , I would choose other fraction and I would scatter EP differently.
