I just noticed while i was creating some stuff.
To create 628 Plopotil, i currently need 37942 Silgium.
I have the exact amount, shown in Available and Required.
But still, Delta shows a red +6542...shouldnt delta show the difference between required and available?

I've always believed the Delta represents the wasted raw material when refining.
If you had a higher Material Ratio that the Delta decreases.
Delta shows the difference between 100% efficiency and your efficiency. Or in other words, the difference between the numbers you see when you look at the info/components panel of a commodity, and the numbers you need when you refine.
So when i have Refining at 10 there should be a 0?

It depends not just on your extensions, but the base efficiency of the facility at that terminal, and your relation towards the NPC corp.
Delta can go below 0, which then means that you have more than 100% efficiency.
Delta can't go below 0, which then means that you have never more or equal than 100% efficiency.
fixed that for you.
the efficiency points follow a dimishing returns formula, so you will always have wastage, but on max boosted gamma bases you can reduce it to a minimum
