- Own turrets will shoot the wall structures and kill them if some enemy is standing behind them.
- Impossible to hide Forcefield gates from the Landmarks. It should remove them when unchecking Other buildings.

Either that, or turrets won't shoot anyone behind plants/walls.

Just a heads up: tonight or tomorrow we'll put the new gamma islands and their layout to the test server. Unfortunately we can't keep the bases you have built (maybe on Chalydor cause the terrain doesn't change there), so if you'd like to test something with the existing infrastructure, you still have a few hours.
we need more logs with coordinates.
whenever i log in, it do not get a message that my base had visitors, or that the wall or the doors got shot down.
not only the info who shot them down, even the info THAT there was something going on is completely missing.

bah, i alread got banned once for that.
days later, theres still no upload of the new maps.
at least there was a database sync as someone on PTS told me that DEV Alf told him on PTS.
most likely a fix to the missile tower range bug that i had reportet.
i think i have to learn how Mark Zima made those database extracts for the planner to actually get any info on what has changed.
meanwhile, i wonder if there will be a bugfix for the most critical bug before it goes live: invisible turret attacks because of range-boosting.
also, still no info if that power connection behaviour is intended or not.
still no info on market prices for all that stuff that currently costs 1 NIC on PTS.

i don't understand the ruckus... how high is the probablity that the patch is on the day mentioned in that blog?
(i know, higher then getting the defense turrets fixed before it goes live)
The new islands are now out on the test server.
On the PTS it still shows the old islands (round shape) on the map.
And the Blue island owners got boned. Norhoop can hit BOTH gamma islands w/ interzones meanwhile Dom can't do ***. This is not balanced with the spacing just judging by the map.
The islands are only old on your map, cause the client is caching. Go there and it will update when you walk. (This won't be like this on live.)
And no beta island can reach gammas with interzones, so there is no imbalance.

That was only on the test server, on the live server you will get the maps without going there.

Since they won't open right away you'll have time for planning after we have deployed the patch
