its not a bad game, and its still in development.
Most important factor is the single player "campaign mode" was only recently added and is a work in progress. Its still mostly a multiplayer only game afaik.

the EA price of 60+ was explained pretty well with the promises they made during its kickstarter campaign.

I am waiting for the the "finished, feature complete" product until buying it - so earliest next sale.

The first game by this guy was years and years ago and my favorite RTS.

This version he raised 3.x mil dollars and was charging 90$ for Alpha. then 60 then 40 .

on sale for $17 is lowest probably ever see it for a while.
