Topic: Skill, damage reduction, and enhance all armor mods effectiveness

Level 2 Skill - Gives 2% damage reduction per level of all damage types.


2% per level increase effectiveness or Armor Plates, Armor Hardeners etc &&&&   natural damage reduction of bot itself.



ALSO, the higher this skill is trained, there is a 2% chance per level guns or missiles will just miss

So, at max level, you can have any bot have a 20% chance of missing you with guns and you have 20% more effectiveness of armor mods +  a 20% natural resitance to damage that hits.

Also completely disregard Green in this::

Nah nah Green gets some too

at max level, 20% of damage to shields bleeds to green bot

-1 for general skill that increases the HP, even if not directly (we already have that with "mechanics" etc)

+1 for a skill that works with armor hardners.

I agree this sounds reasonable. I think it might balance pvp finally for cry babies.

Couple this with damage tuner misfire drawback. With each stacked tuner there is cumulative 5% chance guns will backfire and cause armor damage or 1% chance they'll blow up in your face causing your hair to catch fire thus having no detection and no control over sporadic bot movement for 10 seconds.

yes, passive armor needs to be as effective as active shields

Personally, I *** hate how it works in EVE and you could hardly create a more hostile system for new players.

The game needs tracking so that small targets can avoid large guns by keeping their transversal velocity high.
