Last week my service request ticket that was 6 months old was completed.  Old wiring from my box to the first hub at the road was completely replaced.  Then a line 1300 Feet up the road was replaced.  Since then my connection has been at like 105 ~95 MS to the server (I'm in a rural farmland area, slow DSL is the only option).

Chemist was complaining about lag a few days ago, I'd suggest having your lines upgraded.  And see if that helps, just my two cents.
